
Get ready for the Rocksteady Kid, who will be serving up a healthy platter of classic Jamaican rocksteady, early reggae and dub stylings – 50 tunes that might change your life. Music begins at 7:00 pm this Thursday, August 18th on the Veterans Plaza outside the Silver Spring Civic Center.
Rocksteady Kid - Chris Richardson, as his mother knows him - has previously invaded the radio airwaves in Annapolis (WRNR), College Park (WMUC) and Chestertown (WKHS).
Silver Spring's Veterans Plaza is located at the intersection of Fenton Street & Ellsworth Drive in downtown Silver Spring.
