Marcus Johnson, a Silver Spring resident and graduate of Montgomery County public schools who has excelled in every aspect of his professional life, represents the best of Montgomery County. A successful businessman and an internationally recognized jazz musician, Marcus Johnson has entertained audiences throughout the United States and around the world. We proudly recognize his creativity, his passion, and his great service to our community.

A dynamic personality, with tireless energy and a noble vision of service, Cindy McGrew is a great champion of those who have proudly served in America’s Armed Forces and who need the help of a grateful Nation after their service. The founder of Operation Second Chance, an organization that supports U.S. soldiers and Marines, she is one of Montgomery County’s most respected citizens. We proudly recognize her service and the great example she sets for all of us.
