Thanks to the tremendous interest from the public, all tickets to the Sunday, November 9, 2008 evening of entertainment have been sold. There will be no ticket sales at the door.
The "Tribute to America's Veterans" concert will benefit the non profit organization, "Operation Second Chance."
The concert will feature performances by blues musicians Michel Baytop and Jay Summerour and jazz by the Marcus Johnson Project.
Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will attend and will make remarks. He will also present certificates of appreciation to Operation Second Chance and to Jack Hewitt, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Silver Spring Town Center, Inc. Board of Directors.
